a. Open HotStar’s official website and search for the video that you wish to download.

b. Copy the link of the video.

c. Open the website that allows downloading of videos. One example of such website is telechargerunevideo.

d. Paste the copied link from HotStar into the space that is provided on the website.

e. Select the quality in which you wish to download the video and the video format and click on Download.

3. Using a third-party software and Command Prompt combined

This method allows PC users running Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 to download HotStar videos with a relatively more ease than any other method. There is no need to visit any website except the official website and all you have to do is download one small software which is available here. Follow the steps below after downloading the software:

a. Extract the files in the .rar file that you have downloaded.

b. In the files that you have extracted, there will be a Windows Batch File by the name of Hotsstarlivesteamer.

c. When you open Hotsstarlivesteamer, command prompt will open up.

d. Open up your web browser and visit HotStar’s official website and search for the video that you wish to download.

e. Copy the link of the video.

f. Paste the link in the Command Prompt window that is already open.

g. Mention the quality in which you wish to download the video.

h. Type D and press Enter key.

i. Look for the downloaded file in the videos folder in the folder in which you extracted the files of the .rar file.
