The family is all set to celebrate Christmas in their new home. Based on the video shared by the First Lady, Melania Trump, she has been very busy overseeing the decorations of the White House for the upcoming Winter holidays. The video shows an extravagant setting that is something that we can expect from the Trump administration. The theme for this year’s decorations has been decided as time-honored traditions. The decorations are up! @WhiteHouse is ready to celebrate! Silent Night Evergreens, located in Endeavor, Wisconsin, won the 2017 National Christmas Tree Association contest to present the tree in a horse-drawn wagon. The farm owners had won the award twice before, once in 1998 and then again in 2003. The tree is decorated with the First Family Christmas Ornament, which was on display in the East Garden Room during a preview of the decorations at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC.SourceSourceGoing with the theme, the White House has hung wreaths from its exterior windows. The interiors, on the other hand, are something that have never been seen like that before. It feels like stepping into a magical land. Rows of dramatic, lit-up white birch branches create an archway through the East Wing corridor. The Grand Foyer and Cross Hall are filled with soaring, sparkling trees dripping with snow and silver tinsel to create a Nutcracker Suite motif. The makeover includes subtler decor additions as well, such as mistletoe dangling from the ceiling. The entire endeavor took some 53 Christmas trees, 70 wreaths, and the help of more than 150 volunteers. The Queen of the Castle has certainly spared no effort when it came to making the first impression and it will be a lasting one certainly.
